The J&L Narrow Gauge Railroad operates an actual steam locomotive over a short stretch of track in Youngstown, OH. Visitors can ride behind our 1937 Porter saddle tank locomotive that once moved steel ingots at a Pittsburgh steel mill, as well as see various other pieces of railroading and steelmaking equipment on display. Operated entirely by volunteers, the J&LNG is also the only regularly scheduled operating steam locomotive in northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania.

Vintage VanBlair Antiques and Oddities has an eclectic mix of quality items ranging from mid century, industrial and oddities to primitives and antiques. We feature nine curated vendors each with their own unique aesthetic. We also carry Heirloom Traditions paint and hand-painted furniture.

Kalamazoo's New Vic Theatre was founded in 1966 by Kalamazoo residents Ted & Mary Jo Kistler. For over 45 years, The New Vic Theatre has entertained Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana audiences carving a unique place for itself in the economy and theatrical tradition of the area.The New Vic's original production of "A Christmas Carol" (recipient of a "Special Tribute" from The State of Michigan in 1999) and the annual Christmas Concerts featuring The New Vic Theatre Chorus are among Kalamazoo's oldest on-going holiday presentations and have become an integral part of the holiday season for thousands of Southwest Michigan theatergoers.Located close to the heart of downtown Kalamazoo, the theatre's comfortable cabaret-style seating and intimate size, enhanced by a concession that serves a variety of hot & cold non-alcoholic beverages, lend to its unique atmosphere.The New Vic's flexible modular auditorium allows for innovative staging ranging from the complete round to conventional proscenium format. The State Theatre has been a fixture in downtown Kalamazoo since 1927. The original founder of the theatre was Colonel William Butterfield. John Eberson was the renowned architect who designed the theatre. In line with theatre design conventions of the era, the idea was to create a unique atmospheric effect. The early roots of the theatre were found in the Vaudevillian tradition of performance. Many acts that frequented the State Theatre included opera, dramas, big bands, ballet, dance reviews, stage shows and movies.
