The Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum and Baseball Library is an independent, non-profit organization located in the former home of Joe and his wife, Katie. We are dedicated to honoring the life and preserving the legacy of the greatest natural hitter to ever play the game. Through the research, collection, and display of many original artifacts, photos, and countless books in our on-site research library, we provide comprehensive context for Joe's place in baseball history. In addition to dispelling myths and educating the public about the truth of Joe's life and career, our mission is to be an active, contributing member within our local communities, continuing to grow the game of baseball for generations to come.

Roper Mountain Science Center’s mission is to ignite the natural curiosity of all learners to explore and shape their world. Located just off of I-385 at Roper Mountain Road, Roper Mountain contains an array of state-of-the-art educational facilities on its 62-acre campus. Visitors experience the latest in STEM education through interactive exhibits and several hands-on activities. Families can attend numerous events throughout the year including Friday Starry Nights, Summer Adventure and Afterschool Explorations. We specialize in Foot Massage. Our Signature Foot Massage is 60 Minutes long. We start by having you pick out a bath salt that you like for your foot bath. While your feet are soaking for 15 minutes, we give you a 5 mins left arm massage starting with your hand and working our way up to your shoulders. Then 5 more minutes of the same thing on the other arm. Lastly, 5 mins on your neck and shoulders. Then we dry off your feet and work on your feet, ankles, and calf for the remaining 45 mins. This service includes: Hot or cold neck wrap, eye pillow or cover, and hot or cold lava stones.

We are a public trap and skeet range specializing in beginners. You can buy or rent everything you need in the clubhouse. Classes are available generally every Saturday or can be scheduled on an individual basis. Wedding jewelry/Bridesmaid parties and Girl's night out parties can be arranged.
