Planet Chopper, like most pure ideas, was born on the road. Father and Son Mark and Ben Van Leeuwarden had been travelling to the USA from New Zealand for motorcycle trips when they first met friends John Devonshire and Wayne Cayton in 2009. With a love for customs, old-fashioned fun and long-distance riding — the friendship kickstarted. Planet Chopper was created to foster and spread this spirit!

Grove Vineyards & Winery specializes in growing and crafting exceptional European-style wines from our estate vineyards. The main estate vineyards, winery, event facilities and tasting room are located just 7 miles northeast of the Greensboro city limits in the the federally recognized Haw River Valley wine country, a short drive from anywhere in the Triad or Triangle. The sloping, mineral-rich estate vineyards feature wine grapes that thrive in this microclimate like Cabernet Sauvignon, Nebbiolo, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Tempranillo, etc. Grapes are hand harvested and used for a limited production of 3000 cases of premium wine each year. The Grove tasting room is open noon-6pm daily for tasting, however Winter hours Monday and Tuesday the tasting room is closed but Wed-Sunday we are open 12-6pm, shopping or simply a glass of wine on our dock overlooking Lake Cabernet.

Celebration Station Greensboro, NC offers both indoor and outdoor attractions, two story video arcade, and restaurant. Located just blocks from downtown Durham, the Museum of Life and Science is one of North Carolina’s top family destinations. Situated on 84-acres, our interactive science park includes a two-story science center, one of the largest butterfly conservatories on the East Coast, and beautifully landscaped outdoor exhibits which are safe havens for rescued black bears, lemurs, and endangered red wolves. Other popular attractions include over 60 species of live animals, Dinosaur Trail, Ellerbe Creek Railway, Into the Mist, Hideaway Woods, and Earth Moves. State Fairgrounds, The Raleigh Market is recognized as one of the Top 10 flea markets in the U.S. Each weekend, indoor and outdoor vendors showcase vintage goods and antiques, collectibles, new items, thrift items, crafts, art, jewelry and so much more. Food trucks, farm stands and fair food ensure customers do not leave hungry! The Raleigh Market is open Saturdays and Sundays, 9 am - 5 pm. Admission and parking are free.

The Museum Shop, featuring North Carolina crafts, and the on-site restaurant Pharaoh's at the Museum are open daily. Admission is free, although some special exhibits require a fee. Free parking is available on weekends in the Jones/Edenton Street lot. Museum hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
