Yellowstone Cellars & Winery has been handcrafting classic French and Italian style red and white wines since 2010. All of our grapes are hand-picked and sourced from family-owned vineyards located in the Yakima Valley of Washington. We believe that these are some of the finest grapes grown in the Pacific Northwest, if not in the United States. Great wines have to start with great grapes! We transport all the grapes back to Billings 13 hours after picking, where we crush, de-stem, ferment, barrel age, and bottle, all on-site at our winery. Our focus has always been on the winemaking process and letting the Terroir of the grapes shine in our finished wines. We are proud to be a family-owned and operated business with deep Montana roots. Step back in time and learn about Gallatin County’s heritage. The Gallatin History Museum in Bozeman offers a unique glimpse into the area’s past. Located in the former county jail building (1911 to 1982), the museum maintains displays illustrating the unique histories of a variety of people who have called Southwest Montana home. Permanent and changing exhibits feature early area history and artifacts, unique local stories, photography, a life-sized pioneer cabin, agricultural history, and jail and law enforcement displays. Visit the museum's Montana and local history bookstore and active research library. Staff are available to assist with research projects, genealogy, and photograph archive questions. The Gallatin History Museum is a 501(c)(3) non profit and does not receive any tax dollars but instead relies on memberships, donations, and memorials to operate. Members receive a magazine that features articles on local history, free admission and bookstore discounts.
