Savannah's finest and funniest comedy group, Front Porch Improv, mixes improv games, improv scenes and stories into a seamless, spontaneous and unscripted theatrical experience. Front Porch Improv is known for fast-paced improv show that feature the best improvisers using the audience's suggestions as fuel. The all-star cast will invent custom-made fun that is guaranteed to make you laugh. Shows are not recommended for those 16 years and older (unless your kid is cool).

A unit of University of Georgia Extension, CGBG is a historic property with trees and farm buildings dating to the 1920s, 30s and 40s, when "the Bamboo Farm" was an active USDA Plant Introduction Station. Today, new gardens and paths are being developed and installed. By increasing the plant diversity on the 51-acre property, CGBG aims to bring people in touch with the wonders and beauty of the plant world. Admission charge, free parking and amenities include a Gift Shop and two public restrooms on site. Among the gardens to enjoy include the Woodland Shade Garden, Whiet Garden, Water Garden, Garden for All Abilities, Orchid House, Mediterranean Garden, Rose Garden and Judge Arthur Solomon Camellia Trail. Numerous cold-hardy palms, bamboo species and camellia species are highlights in our botanical collection.

Sassy Paints is a BYOB art studio, offering 2 and 3 hour classes in the evenings. We have kids art classes and we are available private birthday parties and special events!

Roper Mountain Science Center’s mission is to ignite the natural curiosity of all learners to explore and shape their world. Located just off of I-385 at Roper Mountain Road, Roper Mountain contains an array of state-of-the-art educational facilities on its 62-acre campus. Visitors experience the latest in STEM education through interactive exhibits and several hands-on activities. Families can attend numerous events throughout the year including Friday Starry Nights, Summer Adventure and Afterschool Explorations. Roper Mountain provides the opportunity to explore, imagine and grow as a learner of any age.
