The New York State Capitol has served as the seat of government for New York since the 1880's. Over 125 years old, the building is a marvel of late 19th-century architectural grandeur. Built by hand of solid masonry, it took 5 architects and 32 years to complete. Over the years meticulous restoration has been done to maintain and protect the Capitol for future generations of New Yorkers.

The Windham Path is a family-friendly public 1.5-mile looping trail located off Route 23 just outside the village of Windham. An additional parking lot is located on Route 296 near the intersection of South Street. A third of a mile trail connects the two pathways. The Windham Path provides access to the pristine Batavia Kill stream in Windham. The trail roams through peaceful fields along the woodlands and streams and provides picturesque views of the Great Northern Catskills. A leash is required for all furry friends that join you at The Windham Path.

Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the education partner of the National Park Service in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. For over 50 years, PEEC has successfully cultivated an appreciation and love of nature in the tens of thousands of annual visitors, which include school groups, informal learning groups, families, adult learners, professionals, and the general public. PEEC’s residential environmental education campus is located in Dingmans Ferry, Pike County, PA, within the heart of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Lehigh Gorge trains, a trademark of the Reading and Northern Railroad, take a 70 minute round-trip tour following the Lehigh River over bridges, through Glen Onoko, into the Lehigh Gorge State Park. High-rising cliffs and mountain scenery surround the train along the route to Old Penn Haven. You will see hikers, rafters, mountain bikers, and wildlife along the railroad. You will learn about railroad lore, wildlife, the history of the anthracite coal region, and the people who launched America into the Industrial Age.
